Audio Development Support Lead:
Released on March 16th, 2016. In my role as Audio Development Support Lead it was my responsibility to ensure audio was delivered and functioned at the highest possible standard. This included being the liaison between off-site audio quality assurance testers and the on-site audio developers; creating test plans, making sure our testers were aware of new features, design changes, and higher risk issues as they were implemented. I also made sure that our audio developers were aware of any changes implemented from other game areas, UI, gameplay, etc. that could affect or create work for them. Finally, I was also responsible for testing the audio in game myself, writing and regressing bugs, and ensuring we, as a testing team, were hitting bug find targets.
During my time as audio development support lead I was also actively working to distinguish myself and work my way into an audio development position. As such, I volunteered myself to take on some development tasks in addition to my usual responsibilities. This included mining commentary content from live events, editing, and some dialogue implementation. An example of all three of these combined in the video above. I also tagged fighter animations with hooks for sound effects, such as body contacts with another body, the mat, cage, etc.
